Mercer Studies on UC Compensation
In 2005, the University of California engaged Mercer Consulting to study UC's offerings and help the Regents and the administration develop strategies to help ensure the long-term competitiveness of UC's compensation and benefit programs for all employees.
Mercer prepared and delivered three reports to the Regents in both closed and open meeting sessions during 2005 as part of this effort.*
*The full May and July 2005 closed-session reports could not be released until now because they contained some information related to active labor contract negotiations -- negotiations which have now been concluded.
